It is starting to feel like Christmas in Room 5.
We have been working on our problem solving. Students are loving a challenge!
A big thank you to Jane Naish for making us some lovely Christmas gifts.
Room 5 has been learning about following instructions and recipes. Nana Pam helped us to make pikelets...yum :)
For topic we have been learning about music. We learnt a Samoan Dance and shared this at our community showcase.
Duffy books-We are lucky to get two more Duffy books.
We made fruit kebabs to see if we could make some patterns.

We were lucky to go on two end of year trips. We watched a Christmas show as well as went to Willow Bank.
We made our own feather Cloak and our own class Treaty. It was great learning about the Treaty of Waitangi.
A&P Show. We had lots of fun looking at all the different things at the show. We even seen a unicorn :)
Three Billy Goats is our storytelling theme this term. We had fun writing about how the goats could cross the bridge. Together we all painted the scene and then did some sequencing of the events.
